Soldier Of The Legion is a 9 hour, 8 CD, unabridged audio dramatization of a superbly written, presented and performed science fiction action/adventure audiobook thriller. Seeking adventure, "Thinker" is a young man who joined the Legion which defends the Confederation of Free Worlds against the depredation of space pirates, slavers, forces of the despotic inner world systems based empire known as the "System", and the utterly lethal and horrific alien race known only as the Omnis. It's up to Thinker and his rather colorful squad mates to go where they are sent and to fight the enemy wherever they are to be found. The action is fairly nonstop and includes fascinating interpersonal relations within their own ranks. Superbly enhanced with sound effects and benefiting from a large cast of talented voice actors, Soldier Of The Legion is an enthusiastically recommended "theatre of the mind" experience which (because of its violence, language, adult situations) is intended for mature audiences.
